Mr. Fox you said: do you know what is happening with Tony sprague in
abiquiu?........

I believe I do and from what I have been privilege to it is not as cut and
dry as Tony Sprague would like some to believe.  As I explained to Leland in
an email, Tony came to us first and we listened to what he had to say. This
was long before we had heard Mr. Crim's side. Our thoughts to Tony at that
time was to see if he could work it out with Alan as he and Alan had a good
relationship at one time. Tony made money working for Alan. We also said
that we would be willing to talk with Mr. Crim if Tony wanted us too. He did
not seem to want us to do that.. It was only after Mr. Crim sought us out at
a later time that we heard the other side of this conflict

As for Ms. Mason's involvement, I believe Tony may have left out key pieces
to this puzzle. From what I and others can ascertain with what we understand
about this conflict, it's Ms. Mason's non-involvement! My understanding is
Ms. Mason, wisely, had her own surveys done on her properties and found out
that their were discrepancies. Ms. Mason,  being a business person, did what
had to be done to clear up this problem. If I my facts are correct this
conflict/problem goes way back in time and there are others who may need to
be held accountable to their actions. It's also my understanding that Mr.
Sprague bought his land without having an independent survey done.  At least
that's what Tony told us when the question was put to him.

We are setting up a meeting with Mr.Crim and Leland. At Mr.Crim's request we
will do our best to act as mediators. Since there is an issue before the
court Mr. Crim has a responsibility to his case and as I'm sure you know, it
would not be wise discussing certain issues which will be before the court.
I think Mr. Lehrman might get a better overall perspective when he visits
the property to speak with Mr. Crim. I have ascertained from what has been
said by Leland, about Tony coming down from the mountain, etc., that this
has not been done as yet.

Take care and I will do my best to keep you informed. It was our wish and
belief early on, when Tony first asked our opinion, that it could and should
have been resolved without all the hullabaloo! With all the other craziness
going on in our nation and the world we would all fair better if we did not
fight among ourselves and would try and find some common ground! Cest La
Vie!
